Giffin - Emeline

Emeline Giffin died at the home of her son, R. T. M. Giffin, at this place April 19, after a lingering illness of 32 weeks at the age of 77 years. Grandma had lived her for some years but had formerly lived in Clinton County, where her remains were taken Monday for burial. For 23 weeks this good son and his wife, assisted by the neighbors, have stood by the bedside and watched this life slowly but surely pass away and have to the fullest extent obeyed the command, “Honor thy father and mother.” - s
